The New Mario Brothers Wii game for Wii is an amazingly fun time. I’ve recently been playing games like Modern Warefare 2 on Xbox, and love the first person shooter genre. There is something about this game, whether it be the outrageously funny social interaction as you jump on your friends head and send them into an abyss of darkness leading to their inevitable death. (on Accident) Or the difficulty of timing every move you make to finish the course with a 1up on the flagpole.

The New Mario Brothers Wii brings back fond memories of childhood gaming along with amazingly new twists, in a not so apparent 3d world. The graphics are still 100% Nintendo, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The simplicity of the game makes it easy for my 5yr old step daughter to join along in the fun. As of yet, I have only played in two player, and cannot fathom the amazing coordination and team work it would take to complete a four player game. Guess it is time to get two new controllers.
